Subsequently, he completed a fellowship with the Heart & Vascular Institute at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, and returned to Chicago to complete a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Riverside Medical Center, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Passionate about his profession, he is board-certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults (internists).
Among his professional affiliations, Dr. James is a proud member of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and the American Osteopathic Association.
