A determined pathologist, Dr. Brown sees patients at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Methodist Hospital is the flagship facility in San Antonio’s renowned South Texas Medical Center. Opened in 1963, the hospital has grown to be Methodist Healthcare System’s most comprehensive medical care facility, recognized as the largest and most preferred healthcare provider specializing in cardiovascular services, robotics, oncology, emergency medicine, orthopedics and women's health.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, Dr. Brown graduated with his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2011, before completing his residency in anatomic & clinical pathology at the same educational venue in 2015. Finally, he completed his fellowship in molecular genetic pathology at the University of Utah Huntsman Cancer Center in 2017.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in anatomic & clinical pathology, hematology, and molecular genetic pathology through the American Board of Pathology (ABPath). The mission of the ABPath is to promote the health of the public and advance the practice and science of pathology by establishing voluntary certification standards and assessing the qualifications of those seeking to practice the specialty of pathology.

In order to remain up to date in his field, he is an active member of the American Medical Association, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, and the College of American Pathologists.

Pathology is a branch of medical science that involves the study and diagnosis of disease through the examination of surgically removed organs, tissues, bodily fluids, and in some cases, the whole body. Pathologists are physicians who specialize in the diagnosis and management of diseases by laboratory methods.

In his free time, Dr. Brown enjoys weightlifting, jogging, hiking, gardening and going to the beach.
