With a commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research, Dr. Ito serves as the Residency Program Director and Vice Chair of Academic Affairs, shaping the future of otolaryngology for the next generation of medical professionals.
Dr. Ito specializes in otolaryngology, with a particular focus on laryngology and skull base surgery. His clinical interests are wide-ranging and include endoscopic pituitary and skull base tumor surgery, LGBTQ health, sinus disease, and rhinology. This diverse expertise allows Dr. Ito to provide comprehensive care to a broad spectrum of patients, addressing both common and complex conditions.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ito is dedicated to education as an Associate Professor at UMass Chan Medical School. Dr. Ito’s academic credentials are impressive. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Master of Education Degree from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. Following this, Dr. Ito completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and further honed his skills during a fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia.
