Areas of research
While in Kansas, I managed an infant cognition lab in the pediatric department at the University of Kansas Medical Center. After Kansas, I went on to work in private practice, specifically focusing on early intervention. I have many years of experience with in-home therapy services, parent coaching, mentoring young SLPs, and teaching other professionals about early language acquisition and the field of speech-language pathology. I have presented many times at the ASHA conference and other pediatric treatment and therapy conferences. I also have numerous publications in various journals.
