Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Todd J. Wannemuehler, who serves patients throughout the State of Indiana.

A devoted otolaryngologist, Dr. Wannemuehler is an attending physician at Deaconess Clinic ENT, with locations in Evansville, and Newburgh, Indiana. He specializes in rhinology & skull base surgery.

Deaconess Clinic, a fully integrated multispecialty group featuring primary care physicians as well as top specialty doctors, provides patients with consistent and convenient care. It is a part of Deaconess Health System, which is the premier provider of healthcare services to 26 counties in Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky.

An Evansville native, Dr. Wannemuehler completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Southern Indiana. He graduated with his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, and completed his internship and residency in otolaryngology – head & neck surgery at the same educational venue. Later, he completed his fellowship in rhinology & skull base surgery at Vanderbilt University.

As a testament to his success, he is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, which serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification. 

With a passion for teaching, Dr. Wannemuehler serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, specialize in disorders of the head and neck, ranging from hearing loss to cancer.

On a more personal note, Dr. Wannemuehler enjoys spending his free time with his wife and seven children. He has also taken an interest in cooking.
