With a stellar background in breast pathology, genitourinary pathology, and pathology senior staff services, Dr. Hassan's expertise promises to revolutionize the field of medicine. As the Section Chief of Digital Pathology and Artificial Intelligence, Medical Director of the Electron Microscopy Laboratory, and Medical Director of the Troy Andrology Laboratory, his leadership at Henry Ford Health is poised to enhance patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Before embarking on his professional journey, he obtained his medical degree from the esteemed University of Tishreen in Syria in 2005. Following his passion for pathology, he completed a residency in anatomic & clinical pathology at Detroit Medical Center in 2016 and a fellowship in genitourinary pathology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2017. 

An expert in his field, Dr. Hassan’s commitment to excellence is showcased through his board certifications by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology. His contributions span across Henry Ford Hospital, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital - Clinton Township, Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, and Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital.

On a more personal note, his multicultural background enriches his practice, allowing him to communicate fluently in both English and Arabic. His hobbies include playing soccer, tennis, and biking.
