Dr. Sukh Dev Singh Khalsa, DNP, MBA, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC, PHN, is a highly respected board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the President of Khalsa Psychiatric Services: A Nursing Corporation in Georgetown, Kentucky. With more than 30 years of experience in the mental health field, Dr. Khalsa brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, leadership, and compassionate care to every patient interaction. Dr. Khalsa specializes in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, addiction treatment, eating disorder care, and medication-assisted therapy. His approach blends evidence-based practice with a deep commitment to understanding each patient’s unique needs. Patients can expect personalized treatment plans, genomic evaluations when indicated, and care that extends to individuals, families, and groups—delivered in both in-person and telemedicine formats. His extensive career includes serving as Director of Education, Clinical Practice, and Clinical Informatics at Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center, where he spearheaded staff development, competency programs, electronic medical record implementation, and research initiatives. Since 2016, Dr. Khalsa has also provided specialized psychiatric care at Riverside Psychiatric Medical Group in California. Dr. Khalsa’s academic background is equally distinguished. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Loma Linda University, a Master’s in Nursing and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from Azusa Pacific University, and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from California State University, Fullerton, and earlier training as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University, reflecting his dedication to lifelong learning and advancing the field of psychiatric care.
