Get to know Certified Physician Assistant, Ryan Rodriguez, who serves patients in Texas.

Specializing in orthopedic hand surgery and sports medicine, Ryan is a certified physician assistant.

In Texas, he is affiliated with William Beaumont Army Medical Center, whose mission is to provide safe, high quality, patient-centered care to build and sustain a Ready Medical Force and a Medically Ready Force.

In regards to his educational background, Ryan graduated with his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2007. He then earned both his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Athletic Training & his Master of Science in Exercise Science, Human Movement, and Performance degrees from Western Washington University.

From 2013 to 2014, he studied at Baylor University, graduating with his Doctor of Science degree in Clinical Orthopedics. 

Holding himself to a high level of excellence, Ryan is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). The NCCPA is the only certifying organization for PAs in the United States.

On a professional level, he is an active member of the Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery.

A physician assistant-certified (PA-C) is a graduate of an accredited physician assistant educational program who has undergone testing by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. PA-Cs are state-licensed to practice medicine with a supervising physician.
