Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Lauren Allison, who serves patients in Westport, Connecticut. 

Dr. Allison is an attentive pediatrician and a partner at Willows Pediatric Group in Westport, Connecticut, practicing state-of-the-art medicine in an environment dedicated to the health and well-being of the family. She brings all that she has learned caring for children of all ages in a variety of clinical settings to her practice. 

“Whether meeting your infant, child or adolescent for a check up or sick visit, my goal is to provide individualized, compassionate care informed by current research and guidelines. I hope to form long-term partnerships with families as I work with parents to keep their children well from birth through adolescence” she stated. 

Being a Connecticut native and growing up in Redding, Dr. Allison graduated from Wellesley College and received her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School. She then completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Yale Children’s Hospital.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Allison enjoys hiking, playing tennis, kayaking, and gardening. She lives with her husband in Weston, CT.
