Get to know Physician Assistant Suzanne Freesemann, who serves patients in Fullerton, California.

Suzanne has over 30 years of experience as a certified physician assistant and over 15 years in medical dermatology. She is the Owner of Advanced Skincare in Fullerton, California.

As such, her expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of all pediatric, adolescent, and adult skin disorders including skin cancers, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, and eczema. She performs biopsies and excisions for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, and has extensive experience in the excimer lasers for the treatment of psoriasis and vitiligo. She also enjoys the satisfaction and artistry of aesthetic dermatology with her use of fillers, neurotoxins, micro needling, and lasers.

Advanced Skincare is a full service dermatology office, offering the latest and most advanced treatment options in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. At the start of her academic career, Suzanne received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from CSULB. Immediately following her undergraduate work, she completed the PA program at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude and attaining a Gold Seal (Top 10%) on her National Boards.

After 16 years in primary care, she transitioned into dermatology due to her enthusiasm for dermatological advances for severe skin disorders, skin cancers, and cosmetic dermatology.

A physician assistant is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians. They examine patients, prescribe medicine, and order diagnostic tests. In most cases, they work under the supervision of physicians or surgeons, but they can work more independently in some states, rural areas, and inner-city areas, consulting with physicians only when they need help with cases.

In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys Angels baseball, traveling, and is especially passionate about live music. She is married and has one son.
