Get to know Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Diana R. Delp, who serves the population of Kentucky. Diana graduated with her Master in Education (Counseling Psychotherapy) in 1998 from the University of Louisville. She additionally earned a Certificate for two years of Post Master education in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisville in 2001. She also holds her Kentucky License as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Additionally, she is certified as a Prepare/Enrich Therapist, and does Premarital Counseling. She is an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Level II therapist, and has been very successful in helping people with PTSD, Trauma and Phobias. She holds more than two decades of experience in her field. She holds a membership as Fellow in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a long-standing member of the (Former) Kentucky Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Diana specializes in relationship and family issues, trauma (physical, emotional, sexual) and PTSD, phobias, anxiety, depression and self-esteem issues. She works with patients who may have sexual abuse, accidents, anxiety and panic attack issues, depression, and family of origin issues. She has assisted clients with alleviating pain and phobias from traumas, PTSD, and more. She is a Certified Fearless Life Coach. She received her training as a Life Coach in the Fearless Living Institute. She was taught and coached by Rhonda Britten, Emmy Award winner for her Television Program, Starting Over. She currently practices within her private practice, the Delp Counseling Center. Marriage and Family Therapists are mental health professionals that provide psychotherapy services and support to individual clients as well as couples and families. These healthcare providers work in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, outpatient care facilities, substance abuse treatment centers, and in private practices. Marriage and Family Therapists address a range of client issues. They may treat children and adults with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, adolescents with eating disorders, adults with posttraumatic stress disorder, adult and child sexual abuse survivors, couples dealing with infidelity/conflict, and families struggling with divorce.
