A Leading Interventional Neurologist Redefining Stroke Care and Neuro-Intervention with Innovative Solutions at Munson Medical Center

Traverse City, Michigan – David Rosenbaum-HaLevi, MD, a board-certified specialist in neurology with advanced training in vascular neurology and interventional neuroradiology, is making waves at Munson Neurosurgery. As the Medical Director of the Munson Healthcare Comprehensive Stroke Program, Dr. Rosenbaum-HaLevi is dedicated to providing cutting-edge treatments for complex neurological conditions, including acute stroke intervention, cerebral aneurysms, and spinal vascular diseases.

With a passion for innovation in medical technology, Dr. Rosenbaum-HaLevi states, “Recent advances in technology allow us to treat and often cure medical conditions that could be otherwise devastating. Dr. Rosenbaum-HaLevi’s academic journey began at Yeshiva University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He then distinguished himself at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating with a Medical Degree in 2012, where he was recognized for his research contributions. His residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston equipped him with a comprehensive foundation in neurology, followed by a specialized fellowship in vascular neurology.

Further enhancing his skills, Dr. Rosenbaum-HaLevi completed a fellowship in neuro-intervention at Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine, focusing on complex neuro-interventional procedures. Since joining Munson Medical Center as an attending physician in neurointervention in August 2022, he has been instrumental in advancing the standard of care for patients with cerebrovascular diseases.

Before his medical career, Dr. Rosenbaum-HaLevi served as an Infantry Sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces, where he developed leadership and resilience—qualities that translate into his practice today. He also gained early professional experience as a Congressional Intern for Rep. Joseph Crowley in 2001, which further shaped his broad perspective on public service and healthcare.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Rosenbaum-HaLevi enjoys outdoor activities and endurance sports, cherishing time spent with friends and family.
