I am a nationally certified and licensed professional counselor in the Commonwealths of Massachusetts and Virginia, as well as the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland, specializing in trauma-focused care. I am also in the Tricare East Region network.
My areas of specialized training are crisis intervention, family systems work, military counseling, and behavior modification with clients diagnosed with comorbid disorders (ex., PTSD and polysubstance dependence). As a former emergency services clinician, I welcome first responders and clients with chronic medical problems.
My areas of interest are post-traumatic stress disorder, vicarious traumatization, microaggressions in the workplace, acculturation issues, and personality disorders.
