At the age of 19, he cycled across the U.S. — from Oregon to Virginia — in an effort to raise over $12,000 for cancer research on the Believe in the Cure Tour. In addition to cycling, Michael enjoys hiking 14ers, skiing, racing triathlons, and spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and their golden retrievers, Stella and Riley.
