About

Hi! My name is  Erica Leon, MS, RDN, CDN, CEDRD.  I'm a dietitian, eating disorder specialist and group nutrition practice owner with more than 30 yrs. of experience helping people just like you to heal their relationship with food & body image.

If you struggle with an eating disorder or disordered eating, find yourself restricting, overexercising, eating beyond fullness and feeling guilty for what you ate, YOU ARE NOT ALONE and have come to the right place.

Learn to trust your body to determine what, when, & how much to eat without obsessing over the number on a scale!

I am a weight-inclusive dietitian, which means that people of ALL shapes & sizes deserve and receive respectful care here! We work to analyze eating habits together and make changes depending on what you’re ready for.  I  lead a team of dietitians who are here to walk alongside you in reaching your personal health goals.

  • Can you take dietary supplements while pregnant?

Don’t take any supplements without your provider’s OK. During pregnancy, your baby gets all necessary nutrients from you. So, you may need more during pregnancy than you did before pregnancy. Taking prenatal vitamins and eating healthy foods can help give you all the nutrients you and your baby need during pregnancy. Make sure your prenatal vitamin has folic acid, iron and calcium in it. Most have the right amount of each of these. PLEASE ASK YOUR OWN PROVIDER, as each person also has unique nutritional needs. Make sure your prenatal vitamin has folic acid, iron and calcium in it. • Can I give my daughter vitamin supplements?

Vitamin supplements are not a replacement for food. I always take a foods-first approach. If you are concerned about specific nutrients, please talk to your daughter's pediatrician. READ MORE

  • What diet is good for a fatty liver?

This is a very good question and while I would love to answer it, the dietary pattern really needs to be individualized depending on a person's medical situation. I will say that in general, I prefer to have people ADD in foods such as fruit, vegetables, and whole grains, and eating less concentrated carbohydrates like sugary desserts, rather than going on a strict weight loss plan that is ineffective.
