Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Eduardo E. Valdes, who serves patients in Miami, Florida.

Being a caring and compassionate obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Valdes seeks to provide the highest level of care at Collaborative Women’s Care in Miami, Florida. His focus is to individualize the needs and demands of each patient in a warm and caring environment. 

In his professional experience, he is affiliated with Mercy Hospital (a 488-bed acute care U.S. hospital located in Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida) and Baptist Health South Florida (a faith-based, not-for-profit healthcare organization and clinical care network in southern Florida that operates seven hospitals, about fifty outpatient and urgent care centers, as well as several community health and outreach programs). 

A 2012 graduate of the Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico, Dr. Valdes went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York in 2018.

In order to stay up to date in his field, he remains a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, which is a professional association of physicians specializing in obstetrics and gynecology in the United States.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts). An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.
