In recognition of her dedication to the field, she has received several awards throughout her career, including the Chief Resident Award in 2013 and the Rural Medical Education Award in 2010. Notably, she was also honored with the Navy & Marine Commendation Medal for her service in Djibouti, Africa, showcasing her commitment to serving others both domestically and abroad.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Dunn-Junius enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband and two sons.
