  • Cherrell was a successful business owner for 23 years before entering the field of social work. It is her life experience with her kids, along with her natural determination and her ability to focus that is helping her succeed. In her desire to learn about autism and to effectively parent her own high functioning autistic child, her research led her to pursue a degree in the field. She has gone on to achieve a Masters Degree and is able to assist children in need of care and to also help their parents.She is a single parent who went back to school after many years of running her own business in an unrelated profession, and she is proud to have been inducted int to Phi Alpha Honor Society for her academic achievements.
