Get to know Certified Physician Assistant, Thomas Lindley Pittman, who serves patients in Illinois. A valued member of the Hinsdale Orthopaedics medical staff from 1998-2012, Mr. Pittman returned to HOA/IBJI June 2023. He continues to focus his skills on spinal injury, spinal pathology, and treatment in Naperville and Joliet with availability every weekday. Providing compassionate care, he excels at diagnosing and treating spinal conditions non operatively, while involving the patient in the decision-making process. He is a graduate of Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences, a NCCPA accredited program. His training focused on general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, and neurosurgery. His primary past research interests have included lupus, DNA/RNA sequencing in cancer research, development of viral materials for HIV treatment, and stem cell research in spinal fusions. Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, he is an active member of the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, the North American Spine Society, and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants/Associates.
