Dr. Atwal furthered his training with an internship, residency, and fellowship at the State University of New York at Buffalo, followed by an additional fellowship in cerebrovascular/skull base at Barrow Neurological Institute.

Eminently qualified in his field, Dr. Atwal is board certified in RFP in CNS endovascular surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
