A physical exam once a year allows your medical provider key insights to your overall health by screening for potential medical conditions, and detecting any early signs of disease. It also gives you the chance to have your concerns addressed or if you have any questions, you can receive appropriate guidance and recommendations. Regular physicals can help prevent or manage chronic conditions, monitor vital signs, and ensure that you are up to date on necessary vaccinations or screenings. Usually, once you have had a yearly physical, most providers will fill out forms for school sports programs, or other minor forms based off of your annual physical for that year as a courtesy to their patients. When forms are several pages in length or have an additional requirement, you may be asked to come in for if you were not assessed for that specific need such as a urine test, or a vision test. Richelle juggles multiple roles in the healthcare field, working in a hybrid capacity. She serves as a physician associate/assistant at Stockton Community Medical Center, a clinical physician assistant at Wandering Docs Mobile Medicine, and also works as a physician assistant at GAPS Health. 

With a wealth of experience in locum work, Richelle has a passion for providing care to individuals of all ages, but she particularly enjoys working with older adults. She cherishes the exchange of life experiences and finds fulfillment in assisting those with strong opinions.

Academically, Richelle graduated with a Master’s in Education, Technology, and Design from Utah State University in 2008. She then completed a Physician Assistant program at the University of Utah in 2011, after which she pursued a Doctor of Medical Science in Physician Associate Advanced Clinical Practice at Rocky Mountain University, graduating in 2023.
