Bringing Compassionate, Full-Spectrum Care to the Orlando and Maitland Communities

Florida – Lindsay R. Piet, PA-C, a certified Physician Assistant, is making significant strides in primary medical care at Advanced Family Practice in Orlando and Family Practice of Winter Park, located in Maitland. Working collaboratively with the esteemed father-son team of Dr. Ramesh Patel and Dr. Varesh Patel, Ms. Piet is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to patients of all ages, from young adults to seniors, throughout the Winter Park and greater Orlando areas.

With a strong educational foundation, Ms. Piet earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Florida, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Her academic prowess was recognized through the prestigious Presidential Scholarship and the Anderson Scholar Award for Excellence in her field. Additionally, her commitment to community service was honored with the Presidential Service Award, reflecting her work as a crisis-intervention counselor for nearly five years.

Ms. Piet continued her education at the University of Florida, where she obtained her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. During her studies, she actively engaged in clinical research, contributing to multiple publications that explore the impact of obesity in emergency settings, the psychological effects of perfectionism and procrastination, and the challenges posed by low health literacy in emergency services. This research experience has shaped her approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of patient education in achieving optimal health outcomes.

As a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Ms. Piet is licensed by the State of Florida Board of Medicine. She is also a proactive member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, further demonstrating her commitment to professional development and excellence in patient care.
