In his clinical practice he sees many different orthopedic conditions; fracture care, spine care, sports injury, degenerative joint disease, foot and ankle conditions, and trauma. He also assists with orthopedic surgeries involving trauma, foot and ankle conditions, and total knee replacements. Dr. Baldwin is also the supervisor for the Department of Orthopedics Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and a preceptor for the PA program. He is a clinical instructor of musculoskeletal medicine at the UCSD PA program as well. His decades of experience as a physician assistant and multiple degrees as well as the compassionate way he treats each of his patients and their families make him an ideal educator for upcoming advanced practice providers.
What do you attribute your success to?
- \"A desire to really push myself but at the same time, being able to help people while doing so. I don\'t know what my limits are, so exploring opportunities allows me to be a better provider by being the most educated and best version of myself. It also gives me the opportunity to really give back to the next generation of providers.\"
