Get to know Licensed Clinical Social Worker Donnalyn Kuck, who serves patients in Clinton, Missouri.

Donnalyn, a licensed clinical social worker with over three decades of experience in her field, specializes in administration, addiction medicine, and crisis intervention. She serves as the Regional Vice President of Operations at Compass Health Network in Clinton, Missouri. 

Compass Health Network is a nonprofit health care organization that provides a full continuum of behavioral health services and supports as well as primary and dental health services throughout Missouri. It takes a person-centered, integrated approach to caring for customers. This health care model focuses on treating the whole person and is a collaboration of care involving the individual customer, personal providers and, when appropriate, family members. The efficient, effective services are enhanced by data and technology to ensure customers receive evidence-based care delivered in the right way, at the right time, and in the right place.

After earning her undergraduate degree from the Northern State University in 1987, Donnalyn went on to complete her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare in 1990. 

Attributing her success to the foundation of her education and the support she has received at Compass Health Network, she has published several articles in local papers. She remains a member of the Rotary Club and the Missouri Crisis Intervention Team. 

Social work is an academic discipline and profession that concerns itself with individuals, families, groups, and communities in an effort to enhance social functioning and overall well-being. A licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) works with patients in order to help them deal with issues involving mental and emotional health. There are a wide variety of specializations the LCSW can focus on, including mental health issues, substance abuse, public health, school social work, medical social work, marriage counseling or children and family therapy. 

In her spare time, Donnalyn enjoys fishing, hunting, and hiking.
