Our chiropractors will do a physical exam to evaluate the injury further, then they will create a treatment plan to estimate what your injury requires in order to heal; including active release techniques, time, a series of exercises and quantity of chiropractic appointments. Our chiropractors would use their hands and sometimes tools to adjust and apply pressure to realign the affected area and reduce pain and pressure. Can remedial massage help scoliosis?
Hi, Thank you for reaching out. Massage can help treat soreness/tightness associated with scoliosis (as can chiropractic care and the PT routines we would set up for you) but it won't permanently improve/reduce the curvature of the spine. Conservative care can reduce the functional aspect of the curve (not the structural part which would be the actual shapes of the bones).
