She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and International Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She has published and presented on Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery-related topics nationally and internationally.

I have a visual memory, I am detail oriented and a perfectionist, which lead me to pursue Dermatology. I also like procedures and dermatopathology, which lead me to pursue advanced subspecialty training in Procedural Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. I treat people in my care as I would want to be treated if I were in their place and strive to provide the best possible care and experience to my patients.
Curing cancers while getting to know patients during their care and learning from their life experience are all very rewarding aspects of my job.

Is Mohs surgery painful?
The procedure is done under local anesthesia and tricks for numbing are performed that reduce discomfort for a minimum. After the procedure, there can be pain worse in the first night, with 95% of the patients requiring only tylenol for pain control, other 5% may require a stronger medication depending on the case.
