Adam is a physician assistant who specializes in preventing and treating human illness and injury by providing a broad range of care under the supervision of a physician. He works at Doctors Care – Greer in South Carolina.

Doctors Care opened in 1981 as the first minor emergency medical center in Columbia, South Carolina, offering urgent and family care services with flexible evening and weekend hours. Today, it has grown to a network of more than 50 locations across South Carolina, providing timely, convenient health care services. The team has grown to include 1,100 dedicated healthcare professionals with nearly 200 providers focused on urgent care, family care, occupational medicine, and employee wellness. 

Before embarking on his professional journey, Adam graduated with his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Gardner–Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina in 2019. 

Nowadays, in order to stay up to date in his field, he remains a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, which is the national professional society for physician assistants in the United States.

A physician assistant is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians. They examine patients, prescribe medicine, and order diagnostic tests. In most cases, they work under the supervision of physicians or surgeons, but they can work more independently in some states, rural areas, and inner-city areas, consulting with physicians only when they need help with cases.
