He then completed his residency in family medicine at West Kendall Baptist Hospital/FIU in Miami where he was honored to be selected Chief Resident.

Possessing clinical specialization, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
