Get to know Emergency Physician, Dr. Mark Wiseman.

Specializing in emergency medicine, Dr. Wiseman is passionate about trauma, critical care management, and medical education. He is affiliated with Envision Healthcare, which provides customized solutions to improve quality, drive operational excellence, and empower clinicians in the delivery of superior patient experiences.

After earning his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, Dr. Wiseman went on to complete his surgical residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital. This was followed by a residency in emergency medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2019.

With an unwavering commitment to his field, the doctor is hoping to pursue a fellowship in surgical critical care. Alongside his position at Envision Healthcare, he works as a locums/traveling doctor across the country. 

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician is a physician who works at an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients. They care for unscheduled and undifferentiated patients of all ages.
