    Hello. Heart attack is myocardial infarction in scientific term. “Infarction“ is by definition “local tissue death”, which happens due to stopped blood flow in one of the heart arteries supplying blood (and therefore) oxygen to that tissue area. Depending on location and caliber of the artery blocked, damaged/dead tissue area can be very small or very large.   • Can you recover from heart failure?

    I am sorry about your health issue. In most cases, one can recover from some cases of heart failure if the reason for it was curable (infection that’s was treated, toxins that were eliminated and others).   • What creams treat varicose veins?

    Good evening. There are really no research-proven creams effective for treatment of varicose veins. Best treatments are sclerotherapy, foam sclerotherapy, surgical excision (depending on veins sizes). There are some recommendations in the literature for use of creams and gels containing horse chestnut extract but at best they can soften skin over veins and maybe decrease discomfort (no good quality studies to prove if).   • What is the best treatment for varicose veins?

    Good morning. There are several treatments for varicose veins, to best customize them for you personally, detailed venous sonogram “venous mapping” needs to be performed first. This sonogram will assess how well or bad your veins (deep and superficial) work, how small or large your superficial veins are, not only the ones you see and don’t like the way they look but other veins that bring blood to the ones you want to get rid of. Based on venous mapping results and physical examination, treatment plan will be developed which may include thermal or chemical ablation of main superficial veins and surgical excision or chemical ablation (foam sclerotherapy or esthetic sclerotherapy) of varicose veins you see and want to eliminate.
