Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Laura is the founder of Meridian Wellness.
After graduating at the top of her class from Northeastern University, she went on to receive a Masters degree in both Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture- the oldest and most prestigious college of Chinese Medicine in the country. Here she received over 3,050 hours of education, training, and clinical experience. Laura's unique style of practice draws heavily from both Eastern and Western medical philosophies and her focus is on functional medicine: finding and treating the root cause of pain and disease rather than just the symptoms. This approach allows Laura to create a truly integrative and individualized treatment plan for each one of her patients.
She specializes in treating all types of pain, digestive concerns, anxiety/ mood disorders, and gynecological concerns.
