Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Golan Nissim, who serves patients in North Hollywood, California.

Dr. Nissim is a board-certified chiropractor, a certified Active Release Techniques® provider, an  ART® instructor, and a member of the ART® Elite Provider Network. He founded Performance Care Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Center in 1998 out of a personal desire to help individuals achieve the greatest level of health and fitness possible. 

Voted as one of the Top Los Angeles Sports Medicine Clinics, Performance Care Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Center has been providing high-level rehabilitation care for athletes, actors, stuntmen, and everyday hardworking people for more than two decades. It provides the most complete integrated pain management services available in Los Angeles, with state-of-the-art treatments administered by the finest certified medical professionals.

Using ART®, in combination with physical therapy and rehabilitation, Dr. Nissim has successfully treated the shoulders of professional baseball players, the hands of musicians, the backs of law enforcement officers and golfers, and the feet of dancers. His clients have dubbed him “magic hands”. He takes great pleasure in working with children and student athletes so they can succeed at their chosen sport in the best physical condition possible. In that capacity, he has assisted numerous sports teams and coaches with conditioning and training. His treatment philosophy is that whether you are an athlete or non-athlete; the same principles of prevention, treatment, and recovery apply. 

In regards to his educational background, Dr. Nissim graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University, Northridge. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles in 1997.

Due to his 20+ year experience and expertise, he serves as a referral physician for numerous medical practitioners and orthopedic surgeons. 

Among Dr. Nissim’s various awards and honors include: voted Best Active Release Technique clinic in Los Angeles; voted as one of the Top Los Angeles Sports Medicine Clinics; awarded 2019 Top 10 Best Chiropractors Patient Satisfaction Award by American Institute of Chiropractors; awarded 2016 Top 10 Best Chiropractors Patient Satisfaction Award by American Institute of Chiropractors; named #1 Rated Chiropractor in North Hollywood; and voted #1 Rated Sports Medicine Clinic in Los Angeles, among others.
