    I do not think this is the best choice for you considering your history. I would recommend bringing this up to your pharmacist and asking for a different medication as Ciprofloxacin can cause liver symptoms to get worse. READ MORE

  • Eloquist?

    Eliquis has been keeping your blood thin to prevent stroke and heart attack. If you are to be on this medication and you suddenly stop it, you could build up a clot and end up having a stroke or experiencing a heart attack. This medication is not meant to be stopped suddenly. They have discount cards or other medications that are cheaper if you need to change. I recommend telling your pharmacist you are unable to afford it and ask that they fax or call your doctor for a change. They will know which medications can be switched to and get you an answer from your physician without you having to make an appointment. READ MORE

  • Kidney stones and gout?

    I would not recommend taking the over the counter weight loss supplement. However, lemon added to water, or even low sugar lemonade is beneficial in preventing kidney stones. I would recommend seeking help from a nutritionist to see the safest way to lose weight with diet and adding exercise to your weekly routine. Three to five days of activity for 30 minutes or more will help with weight loss, as well as reducing the gout flare ups. READ MORE

    Any over the counter pain medications should help. I would recommend Advil or Aleve. They are going to work for inflammation which is what you are most likely experiencing pain from. READ MORE

    Cetirizine, Claritin, or Xyzal daily would help prevent symptoms. You should take them for a week before you will feel great relief. However, if you are noticing any congestion, you could take Flonase nasal spray, two sprays each nostril once daily to help with stuffiness. READ MORE

  • What is emergency treatment for high blood pressure?

    If you are experiencing severe high blood pressure (numbers of 160/90 or higher) you need to go to the emergency room. However, if you are not currently on blood pressure medication you need to see your doctor and get treatment. There is nothing over the counter for high blood pressure. READ MORE

  • Is taking viagra safe?

    It is safe to take as long as you don't take any medication with nitrate in it. Also, as far as taking three pills, it depends on the dose. If the pill is a 20mg pill or lower, it is alright. However, if it is a 100mg pill, it is not safe to take three in one day. READ MORE

  • What is the best medication for GERD?

    Prilosec OTC and Nexium are good for chronic GERD. You take them for 14 days every three months to keep your symptoms at bay. READ MORE

    It is dangerous to take a double dose of your anxiety medication. However, you should be alright. If you notice tremors, severe sweating, agitation, or any other unexplained symptoms, go to the ER. And I recommend a pill box that you fill with your medication to help you keep track of when you take your medicine so if you are to forget, you only need to look at your pill box to see if you took your medicine for the day or not.     Yes, it will be positive. It will not be out of your system for a while. However, you need to make sure it is ok with your physician before you take extra hydrocodone. It is a dangerous drug and you increase your risk for overdose by taking more than prescribed. Please make sure you are open and honest with your physician about how much you need to take to get rid of your pain. They can adjust your prescription to make sure it is helping you. READ MORE

  • What can I do to prevent the stomach bug?
