How long does it take to realign a sprained ankle?
Soft tissue injuries such as a sprained ankle can take a while to heal. Unlike bone which usually take 6-8 weeks, soft tissue can take longer. Depending on the extent of soft tissue injury I usually recommend immobilization for 2-4 weeks then physical therapy focusing on proprioception for another 3-4 weeks READ MORE

Sometimes when doing a permanent procedure the acid does not fully take in some areas and you grow what’s called a spicule. I would usually redo the procedure and do an extra application of the acid. READ MORE
How do they fix bunions with flat feet?
Usually, in fixing a bunion with flat feet, the only difference is that the osteotomy or bone cut would be more proximal, i.e., fuse the joint further from the actual bunion. READ MORE

Are compression socks good for swollen feet?
Yes compression stockings are good for any type of Adema or swelling. As long as your heart is OK compression stockings will help move up the excess fluid back to the heart which will reduce swelling. Other good options are elevating your limbs above your heart when laying down READ MORE
Is it ok to walk on a sprained ankle?
Depending on how bad the sprain is, no, I would not recommend walking on it without using a boot or a brace of some sort. Without Immobilizing the ankle joint, it will never heal naturally. READ MORE
