Get to know Urologist Dr. Vladimir P. Krichevsky, who serves patients in Brooklyn, New York.

Specializing in the field of urology, Dr. Krichevsky sees patients at his private practice – Vladimir P. Krichevsky MD, PC – in Brooklyn, New York.

In practice since 2000, he is prepared to diagnose and treat various disorders and diseases relating to the urinary tracts of both men and women, and on the reproductive system in males. He can provide treatment for various types of diseases and disorders including urinary tract infections, kidney stones and incontinence, among others.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from Bogomolets National Medical University in Ukraine in 1985. He then went on to perform his residencies in general surgery and urology at Maimonides Medical Center.

With nearly four decades of experience, Dr. Krichevsky is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU). The mission of the ABU is to act for the benefit of the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to insure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care.

Licensed to practice medicine in New York, he is affiliated with New York Community Hospital, Maimonides Medical Center, and NYU Langone Hospitals.

Urology, also known as genitourinary surgery, is the branch of medicine that focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary-tract system and the male reproductive organs. Urologists specialize in diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. Patients may be referred to a urologist if their physician suspects they may need treatment for a condition relating to the bladder, prostate, urethra, ureters, kidneys, and adrenal glands.
