Dr. Agarwal, a board-certified emergency physician, is licensed to practice medicine in Texas. He is affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers in the area, including CHI St. Luke’s Health – Sugar Land Hospital, CHI St. Luke’s Health – Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, and HCA Houston Healthcare West.

Prior to his current endeavours, he served as the Medical Director of First Choice Emergency Room-Katy Cinco Ranch, the Facility Medical Director of First Choice Emergency Room – Spring Gleannloch, and as an emergency medicine physician at Teamhealth and Emcare.

Graduating with his medical degree from St. Christopher Iba Mar Diop College of Medicine in England in 2005, Dr. Agarwal relocated to the United States. Once there, he served his residencies in internal medicine and emergency medicine at The Medical Center of Central Georgia and with North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in 2009 and 2013, respectively. 

Following his training, he attained board certification in emergency medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional, and examination standards.

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. A pediatric emergency physician is a specialist in the care of children and teens who are acutely ill or injured. They are trained to care for a wide range of problems that require immediate medical help. These problems are often serious and may be life-threatening.
