Daniel Resident Award, Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation Grant Recipient, Piedmont Orthopedic Society Research Grant Recipient, Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Lambda Graduate Honor Society, Bowman Foster Ashe Academic Scholarship, and was on the University of Miami Dean’s List.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Avashia competed at the prestigious Duke University Medical Center, completing a rigorous 6-years of training that spanned all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery. To further hone his passion for aesthetic surgery, he moved to Dallas to complete a fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. This fellowship is acclaimed as the top aesthetic surgery fellowship in the country, training under the preeminent, Dr. Rod Rohrich.
