Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Yash Avashia, who serves patients in Dallas, Texas.

A highly trained plastic surgeon, Dr. Avashia operates at the premier Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. He provides a wide range of facial plastic surgery, breast surgery, body contouring and nonsurgical treatments to the men and women in the Dallas, Texas area.

With an aesthetic philosophy founded on a patient-centered approach, facial plastic surgery is a primary focus of his practice. He has a deep appreciation of the delicate aspects of facial anatomy. In addition, he takes pride in performing facial procedures because while one can conceal their figure underneath clothing, they cannot hide their face. This fact motivates him to be extremely precise when performing facial procedures.

With highly specialized training from some of the most renowned plastic surgeons in the world, Dr. Avashia earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami. He then attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. 

During his medical training, he was the recipient of various honors, including the Duke University Gregory S. Georgiade Teaching Award, The Rhinoplasty Society Rollin K. Daniel Resident Award, Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation Grant Recipient, Piedmont Orthopedic Society Research Grant Recipient, Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Lambda Graduate Honor Society, Bowman Foster Ashe Academic Scholarship, and was on the University of Miami Dean’s List.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Avashia competed at the prestigious Duke University Medical Center, completing a rigorous 6-years of training that spanned all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery. To further hone his passion for aesthetic surgery, he moved to Dallas to complete a fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. This fellowship is acclaimed as the top aesthetic surgery fellowship in the country, training under the preeminent, Dr. Rod Rohrich.
