Get to know Hospitalist Dr. Aiza Akbar, who serves patients in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

A prominent hospitalist, Dr. Akbar is affiliated with Atlantic Medical Group Hospitalists, tending to patients at Hackettstown Medical Center in New Jersey.

Back in 2012, he received his medical degree from the King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Hackensack University Medical Center (Mountainside) in 2019.

An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
