As an experienced primary care physician, Dr. Dosunmu diagnoses and treats a variety of acute and chronic health conditions, including pneumonia, arthritis, and fibromyalgia. He also specializes in chronic disease prevention, offering comprehensive annual physicals and in-office health screenings. 

Prior to starting his own private practice, he served patients as a primary care physician at various hospitals throughout the state of Texas, most recently at South Texas Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio and Kerrville. He also performed clinical research on chronic health conditions like hypertension and diabetes in New York City and New Orleans.

A native of Nigeria, Dr. Dosunmu graduated with his medical degree[MD] from the University of Ibadan College of Medicine in 1987, and later finished an internship at Lagos Island General Hospital, also in Nigeria. After moving to the United States, he completed an internship and residency in  internal medicine at North General Hospital in New York City and Mount Sanai school of medicine  where he also earned the Most Outstanding Intern distinction.

Specializing in the medical treatment of adults, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

A Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), Dr. Dosunmu is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Society of Hospital Medicine, and the Bexar County Medical Society. He is also an honorary commander at Randolph Air Force Base in Randolph, Texas.
