Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Adam Raskin, who serves patients throughout the State of Ohio.

A board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist, Dr. Raskin is affiliated with Mercy Health - The Heart Institute, serving patients in Cincinnati and Fairfield, Ohio.

Before embarking on his professional journey, he graduated with his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2009, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2012. He then went on to complete two consecutive fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the same educational venue in 2015 and 2018, respectively.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Licensed to practice medicine in Ohio and Indiana, Dr. Raskin can be found on staff at Mercy Health-The Jewish Hospital, Mercy Health - West Hospital, Mercy Health - Fairfield Hospital, Mercy Health - Clermont Hospital, and Mercy Health - Anderson Hospital.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).
