Get to know Physician Assistant, Ivanna Fux Kahn, who serves patients in Newport Beach, California.

Ivanna is a board-certified physician assistant with Orange County Plastic Surgery. She is passionate about personalizing her work to suit clients’ needs and achieving desirable results to reveal their individual and unique beauty. Her favorite treatments include injectables, skin care, and microneedling.

Orange County Plastic Surgery offers a complete range of surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures provided by Harvard trained, double board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Juris Bunkis, in Newport Beach, California.

As a former professional ballet dancer, she was inspired to combine her two passions: art and medicine. She became intrigued by the art of combining aesthetics, a delicate touch, and medical knowledge in order to practice cosmetics and plastic surgery.

After graduating with high honors and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Human Biology from Chapman University in Orange County, Ivanna pursued her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from MCPHS University in Boston, Massachusetts. She was granted the opportunity to complete a clinical rotation with Dr. Juris Bunkis at Orange County Plastic Surgery during her schooling.

A Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians.  PAs are medical professionals, educated in the medical model to complement physician training, and assist the physician in many aspects of the practice. PAs are trained to take medical histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnose illness, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and assist in surgery.

When Ivanna is not in the office, she enjoys experiencing a variety of cuisines, watching films, and spending quality time with her family in San Diego.
