An native of Athens, Alabama, Dr. Jackson graduated from Athens High School in 2010, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Alabama in 2013. He went on to study History at Oxford University in 2013, and completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in 2020.

The practice of pharmacy requires excellent knowledge of drugs, their mechanism of action, side effects, interactions, mobility, and toxicity. The oldest child in his family, Dr. Jackson is married to his wife, Madison Bailey.
