Get to know Athletic Trainer-Certified and Physical Therapy Assistant, Dr. Lindsey Norton, who serves patients in Papillon, Nebraska.

Lindsey is a Physical Therapy Assistant and Athletic Trainer-Certified with Papillion La-Vista High School in Papillon, Nebraska. She and her colleagues provide AT services to PapioMonarchs athletes and educate future ATs. 

Lindsey is a 2014-graduate of the University of Nebraska Omaha Athletic Training. Furthermore, in 2017, she became a Physical Therapy Assistant from the Iowa Western Community College. 

Subsequent to her training, Lindsey attained board certification in family medicine and sports medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine. The American Board of Family Medicine is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, is one of the allied health professions. It is provided by physical therapists who promote, maintain, or restore health through physical examination, diagnosis, prognosis, patient education, physical intervention, rehabilitation, disease prevention and health promotion.
