Back in 2011, she graduated with her medical degree from the Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador. In order to further her education, she relocated to the United States, where she completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in pulmonary disease & critical care medicine at the NYC Health + Hospitals / Harlem.

Passionate about her profession, the doctor is board-certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
