Internationally Trained Physician and Researcher Focuses on Obesity and Diabetes

Skilled internist, Dr. Radhwan AlRubaye, MBChB, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his medical practice. He is licensed to practice medicine in Georgia, ensuring that patients in these states have access to his high-quality care. 

Dr. AlRubaye earned his Medical Degree from the prestigious College of Medicine University of Baghdad in 2004. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge and patient care has led him to the United States, where he is currently pursuing a fellowship within the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism & Diabetes at the University of Louisville.

During his time in the medical field, Dr. AlRubaye has developed a keen interest in the fields of obesity and diabetes. His dedication to understanding and treating these conditions has garnered him recognition and respect among his peers and patients alike. 

From 2019 to 2023, Dr. AlRubaye served as a full-time hospitalist and co faculty member at Northeast Georgia Health System. His clinical experience in a hospital setting has equipped him with valuable skills and insights that he brings to his current research and practice. He also has a good expertise in serving remote hospitals in rural area, he works as locum hospitalist in underserved area to help community in need to access to health care

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. AlRubaye upholds the highest standards of medical practice and patient care. He is an active member of the American Diabetes Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, staying abreast of the latest advancements in his field. Additionally, he is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, showcasing his commitment to excellence in internal medicine.
