Get to know Vascular Surgeon Dr. Justin W. Ady, who serves patients in New Jersey.

An experienced vascular surgeon, Dr. Ady is renowned for his expertise in addressing conditions involving the arterial, venous, and lymphatic systems. He holds a medical license in the state of New Jersey and maintains affiliations with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick.

Imparting his wealth of knowledge and experience to the next generation of medical professionals, Dr. Ady also plays a vital role in academia, serving as an Assistant Professor of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery within the Department of Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

His educational journey began with his pursuit of a Bachelor of Science Degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He then went on to earn his Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York where he further honed his medical expertise. 

Dr. Ady’s commitment to his field led him to a residency in general surgery at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey where he gained valuable hands-on experience. He then embarked on a fellowship in vascular surgery at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, solidifying his specialization in the intricacies of vascular surgery.

Board certified in vascular surgery, Dr. Ady is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery (ABS).  The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

Vascular surgery is a surgical subspecialty in which diseases of the vascular system, including the arteries, veins, and lymphatic circulation, are managed by medical therapy, minimally invasive catheter procedures, and surgical reconstruction. A vascular surgeon diagnoses, treats, and manages conditions in the arteries and veins, also called the blood vessels. These specialists treat a range of health problems, from spider and varicose veins to life-threatening aneurysms, and can help patients manage chronic conditions throughout their lives.
