Get to know Physician Associate Jennifer Sills, who serves patients in Miami Beach, Florida.

Jennifer is a certified physician associate practicing in Miami Beach, Florida. She is currently licensed in California and Florida. 

As such, she is dedicated to serving and educating the diverse and under-served communities of South Florida and beyond in healthcare and wellness education. Her goal is to provide compassionate and culturally competent care as she networks with professionals in the medical field.

Earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wayne State University in 2011, she went on to complete an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) certification at Oakland Community College in 2013.

After gaining two years of direct patient care experience and successfully completing didactic and clinical year of her program, in 2018, she graduated with an AS in Physician Assistant Studies from Miami Dade College. 

Among her professional affiliations, Jennifer is an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Associates. She also holds certification in CPR through the American Heart Association.

A Physician Associate Certified (PA-C) is a licensed clinician who has the ability to practice medicine in every specialty and setting. Trusted, rigorously educated and trained healthcare professionals, PAs are dedicated to expanding access to care and transforming health and wellness through patient-centered, team-based medical practice.  PAs have the ability to treat patients independently of a medical physician in many states. They perform a variety of duties, including writing prescriptions, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, assisting in surgery, performing minor bedside procedures, diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, and obtaining patient histories.

Among her volunteer efforts, Jennifer is an EMT-B/Medical Assistant with A Broader View Volunteers Corp, a volunteer with Camillus House. She has also worked as a Brand Ambassador for the FDA sponsored tobacco free campaign directed to the LGBT community with Rescue The Behavior Change Agency.

Jennifer Sills is Bilingual, she speaks both English and Spanish.
