Originally from Auburn, Alabama, he grew up in a close-knit family where he developed a love for tennis and a passion for college football. He pursued his education at the University of Alabama, earning a degree in Biology before furthering his studies at the esteemed Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

It was during his time at Tufts that Dr. DeLorenzo met his wife, Catherine, who introduced him to the enchanting summers spent at Newfound Lake. Captivated by the natural beauty and lifestyle of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, the DeLorenzo family – including their two dogs and an expected baby in September – are thrilled to call Gilford their new home.

With extensive clinical skills and advanced training, he is committed to staying at the forefront of dental practices. Currently pursuing a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, he emphasizes the importance of continuing education to enhance patient care. He brings significant experience in placing dental implants to Gilford Dental, a new service that will expand treatment options for patients seeking restorative dental care.

“I am excited to join the Gilford community and to provide exceptional dental care to my patients,” said Dr. DeLorenzo. “My goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment where patients feel valued and receive the personalized attention they deserve.”

In addition to his professional commitments, he enjoys an active lifestyle. In his free time, he can be found playing tennis or pickleball, hiking the beautiful trails of New Hampshire, skiing in the winter, cheering on his favorite college football teams, or planning adventures to America’s breathtaking National Parks.
