A proud graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Vila earned her Bachelor’s Degree in General Sciences and went on to complete her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree at its School of Dental Medicine, Medical Sciences Campus, graduating second in her class. She honed her skills through rigorous training in New York, where she completed two general residencies at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and Montefiore Medical Center. Her commitment to excellence continued as she earned her Master’s Degree in Oral Pathology and Biology, followed by her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Stony Brook University, making history as the first Puerto Rican woman to graduate in orthodontics.

Driven by her passion for orthodontics, Dr. Vila returned to Puerto Rico to establish her practice, where she is committed to providing exceptional care to her community. In addition to her private practice, she collaborates with Dr. José Vicéns in Humacao and Ceiba, extending her expertise to a broader range of patients across the island.

Dr. Vila is a dedicated member of the Puerto Rican Society of Orthodontic Specialists (SEO) and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). Through her involvement in these organizations, she actively contributes to the advancement of orthodontics in Puerto Rico, ensuring that her practice remains at the forefront of the field.
