Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Michael Johnson, who serves patients in Lakewood, Colorado.

Recognized as a caring and compassionate obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Johnson has been practicing at Red Rocks Ob/Gyn in Lakewood, Colorado since 1998. A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), his clinical interests include surgery for pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, and Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery.

Following the completion of his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine in 1994, Dr. Johnson went on to further his education. He served his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

With an unwavering commitment to his speciality, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Johnson serves as a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado.

Married with three children, Dr. Johnson enjoys golfing, skiing, gardening, and participating in his children’s many activities.
